It was slightly light out and getting darker. A slight breeze blew. It was rather warm this such a time of year. Usually one would need a coat at this time. Leaves were falling in a rainbow of colors making colorful paths for people to walk on. However as stated before the weather had gone from chilly to rather decent where a sweatshirt would be comfortable enough. The was beginning to set. Time was running out until the night finally overcame it. An endless circle. Streets were very populated this night. The mansion was pretty empty besides a select few. It was quiet. Peaceful in the usually chaotic mansion. However despite the weather and the new peace things were not as perfect as they seemed. A rough cough sounded in one of the dark rooms.

"M- Masky-" The cough repeated, interrupting the speaker.

Hoody just happened to be ill on such a night. His throat burned, head ached and the cough didn't help either of those things. The lights were off due to his newfound sensitivity for light. His breathing was slightly labored as he shivered despite the fever that the thermometer now detected though it was unnecessary as the fever was evident. However it was insisted that he check as if there was none he'd be allowed out of bed for a limited time. However there was no chance of that and both knew it.

"Please… I- I want… to go…"

"No. A deals a deal. You're not going anywhere."

The device that read 106 was set to the side.

"It's… not fair…"

Tears started to slip down his cheeks. His masked friend sighed.

"...Not… fair."

Hoody curled up and Masky cast a glance to the calendar. October 31st.

Yeah I know. It's not even close to Halloween.
