After being found in an open grave with his original being of existance; Charles Lee Ray, Chucky was the focus of the media. Everyone was baffled over what had happened, and they all wondered how such an incident could take place for the 4th time within 15 years. First it was the mentalcase; Andy Barclay; who had convinced nobody that the doll was really alive, but his own mother and a couple of detectives. But who would believe them?
It had been only a night, and people were gathered around Charles Lee Ray's open grave; pondering; taking pictures; and wondering what could have happened. It was later discovered that the amulet; The Heart of Dambala; had been taken from Ray's rotting corpse. But who had done such a thing? And what value did this amulet bring to the theif? As like all of the previous cases of evil dolls trying to take their victims, this case also remained a sick joke. Or worse... un-solved.
How did the policeman beside the grave die? People say he was eaten by some kind of animal. And some say otherwise. But one thing for sure, was that whatever had attack him and tore him apart, was definately not human.
Again, people dismissed this as nothing. People never even bothered to try and solve it. Everyone wanted to forget it. So soon, after a minimal amount of investigation, Charles Lee Ray was re-burried, and the whole thing was forgotten. The only other thing that lay in the crime scene, was the crisp burnt remains of plastic and burnt fabric, and the indentation of someone that had once been laying there. But where was it now?
