A/N: I didn't originally write this for Remus at first but it just worked so here it is!
Perplexity
Alone I walk in the radiant night,
Blindly perceiving a brilliant light.
Lost in the depths of mirth and lies,
Mind laden with empty cries.
I of wisdom and of wishes.
I of reason and foolishness.
Feeling jubilant, feeling joyful,
Feeling desolated, feeling hollow.
Observing shadow with open eyes,
Confronting the Lord with doubts and whys.
I am confident and I worry,
I am calm, I seethe with fury.
I crave for your sympathy,
I despise your pity.
Such are the endless mysteries
That prompt my perplexity.
