I'm procrastinating all the writing I SHOULD be doing.

oops.

Pokemon isn't mine.

Lucas was angry.

Furious, more like it.

Dawn is not his, no longer his lover, just someone who has betrayed and let him down; again.

Because she loves Barry, oh-so-very much, and they are perfect together. Just perfect and beautiful - and oh, he once had that - and he's running off in the pouring rain, lightning and thunder as Dawn tried to explain to him that shenever should have played with him like that.

Lucas doesn't know where he's going, but he's going somewhere far so that Dawn and Barry can be happy together, without him, because that's just how it should be right now.

He runs and runs and runs and runs until he finds sanctuary in Velistone, in the old, shut down Galactic warehouse.

He chuckles to himself, remembering the lost pokedex and Looker, and instantly he flinches and hates it here.

"What are you doing here?!" a voice snaps.

He turns around to find Mars, and he sighs, "Nothing Mars, just go back to making out with Cyrus or whatever."

She blushes - but only slightly, and you would need a magnifying glass to see - and he snickers to himself. She admired him, she once told him, but he didn't know which way to take it.

"Answer my question: why are you here?" she asks, more gently.

"I… don't know. I'm bored, I guess."

"And because you're bored you came here?"

"I guess just cheer me up when I'm down, Mars."

She blushes heavily this time.
