This is my enjoy into Asking Me Where My Love Grows first kiss challenge. This is just a cute little fluffy piece for the pairing I was given.
It was early spring at Hogwarts and the flowers were just starting to pop up in the ground. A young girl with dirty blonde hair was just skipping through the grounded. It was early in the morning so she was still dressed in a nightgown. She wasn't really one to think about what people thought of her. The grass was wet beneath her feet and it tickled.
She was just skipping along her eyes close so she didn't realized where it was she was going. Since she could see where she was going she ended up bumping into someone. "I'm sorry." She said opening her eyes. "I wasn't looking where it was I was going.
"It's okay." The guy smiled at her. "Why did you have you eyes closed?"
"I was pretending to skip through a field of flowers." She explained while looking at the ginger haired boy "Where's George?"
"He's ill." He told Luna looking down at her.
"Oh." Luna said looking down at her feet.
"Don't worry about it." Fred told her. "It's only a stomach bug. He'll be up and pranking in no time."
She thought about what to say "That's good." She smiled a little and then added in "Maybe i'll have to drop by the hospital wing and give him a hug."
Fred pouted a little bit "What about me?"
"You can have one to." She smiled wrapping her arms around him tightly.
"You give really nice hugs" Fred told her while she pulled away from him.
"Thanks." Luna smiled looking up at him.
"Come here again." Fred responded pulling her close to him once again and into another hug.
"What are you doing?" She asked the older Gryffindor gently as she let her arms slide around him.
"You give me butterflies" Fred whispered to her his arms still wrapped around Luna holding her close. The butterflies in his stomach telling him to gently lean in and kiss the young teen.
"You give me butterflies as well" Luna admitted to him.
"I do." Fred responded a little bit shocked.
"Yes. You do." Luna told him looking up into his eyes.
"Wow." Fred whispered. He then leaned down and slowly let his lips touch Luna's gently not knowing that it not only their first kiss but her first kiss as well.
When Fred pulled away Luna gently smiled "That felt really nice."
"Yes." Fred agreed. "I better let you get back to your common room."
Luna was a little bit confused when he said that to her "Why?"
"You still dressed in your nightgown."
"Oh" Luna said understanding now.
"Yeah." Fred nodded.
"Okay" Luna smiled at him "Well then i'll see you later." She turned on her heals and skipped away from Fred the memory of that kiss in her head.
