"This is mankind's retribution; this is when mankind will meet its day of reckoning; this will be the day mankind will pay for all its atrocities against Adepts with their own blood," Zonda, the mysterious leader of Eden, spoke to the crowd within the Garden, her young appearance being in stark contrast to her tone within her speech.
In front of her are the Grimwald 7(G7 for short), Eden's most powerful Adepts and that follow Zonda's ideology, all clad in their Grimoired forms as they watch the Pawns listen in enrapt attention to their beloved leader's speech, most of their expressions appearing neutral barring a few with smiles or frowns.
"For too long Adepts are persecuted by mankind all because of our Septima, and for what? Because of fear . . . ? Because of hatred . . . ? Because of self entitlement . . . ? These are the very things that mankind chose as a way to treat us like we are a virus to them," Zonda continued, her tone slowly grow into anger. "All we want is to live in coexistance, but mankind instead chose to shrug off our desperate pleas like we are nothing . . .
"If mankind refuses to show us the love we deserved . . . if mankind refuses to treat us like humans despite our Septimas . . . then we will give them no love anymore. Because when they treat us as monsters, they'll regret that decision with their very own lives.
"Now with a few major threats now out of the picture, including the Azure Striker Gunvolt and the Adept Slayer Copen, we will create a new Eden in this desolate world, and rid of it the very threat to Adepts everywhere; we will reshape Earth to be a better place for all Adepts and exterminate humanity from this very planet!"
The crowd roared in applause, cheering and chanting to Zonda, praising her for her leadership, the G7 williness to support their leader's cause, and the desire for veagence against the humans who wronged them all.
Zonda let the crowd settle down on its own, not wanting to ruin their enjoyment over her speech.
True to her prediction the crowd starts to settle down, giving Zonda a chance to smile to her loyal, if not fanatical, supporters to her cause.
"Now with that out of the way, here how the final operations for Eden to be establish throughout the world and for mankind to face its retribution," Zonda alerted to the crowd with her normal tone.
Everybody, even the G7 themselves start to listen to Zonda's plans in great detail, each with a specific task they need to achieve their ultimate goal to making a new Eden on Earth.
"That is how we will complete our objectives starting tommorow late morning," Zonda concluded. "Everyone, get some rest and prepare, because when we will begin the revolution for Adept freedom, we will have to be at our very best!"
With her speech done, Zonda added. "That will be all for the night. Dismiss."
The crowd start to leave the Garden to rest and recover, desiring to start the revolution tomorrow with the instructions Zonda had gave them in their minds, leaving only the leader of Eden and her sworn protectors.
"Yo, that speech was epic," Ghauri appaused to his teammates. "Zonda knows how to make the crowd go wild with her words."
Teseo gave them his trademark smile. "Tell me about it Ghauri. #Zonda rocks as Eden leader."
Tenjian however patted Zonda on her should as he gave his 'sister' a smile on his face. "You did well Zonda; I'm proud of you."
"Thank you for your compliments," Zonda nodded to the Prism Master, the Serial Experiment, and the Frozen Blade respectively, her neutral expression growing into a small smile.
"For me, I will rather savor mankind's destruction tommorow," Asroc replied with a frown. "These primates will face the full might of Eden when they cannot handle the heat within the kitchen, and I will be there to make it happen."
Gibril gave a heartful chuckle. "I can imagine Gunvolt and Copen having their heads starting to spin into insanity when mankind is hunted down like animals and them not doing anything to stop us."
"It would be advisable to rest as soon as possible," Desna suggested to the Pygmalion Furnance and the Fullmetal Jacket calmly. "Your chances of aiding Eden will benefit greatly if we have proper amounts of rest. It will improve our chances of success if we do that."
"Alright then," Asroc nodded to the Starstruck Beauty before changing back to his normal form, the Grimoire now place into his hands before the other G7 changes back to their normal forms. He then looked at his teammates and Zonda. "I will go to my quarters for the night."
Teseo yawned unexpectedly if his tired face is an indication. "I'm going back to my quarters. Need to get my z's in. #SOTIRED."
"I'll get some rest too," Ghauri chimed in. "Can't perform my beat moves if I'm too tired. See ya."
"Alright then," Tenjian nodded as he takes Zonda to get some sleep as they walk out of the Garden together.
As both Asroc and Ghauri walked out to find their personal quarters alongside Gibril that went without saying anything, before the rest slowly leave the Garden to find their personal quarters
Desna herself however drifted to her thoughts as walk in the hallways, reflecting on the way Adepts can have the peace they so sought after all this time of hardships from humanity.
For the Starstruck Beauty, the reason why mankind had a hard time trusting Adepts is completely understandable since the Adepts' Septima can do various abilities thought impossible to humand. But what baffles Desna is how much mankind is willing to treat them as second rate humans despite the possibly of Adepts willing to retaliate with extreme prejudice on their tormentors; no one should expect victims to simply take up all the abuse and treat it as nothing, as the victims will snap without warning and lash out. Or in this case, creating a terrorist group that will spill mankind's destruction.
Desna know that racism had existed in the past and in various places around the globe throughout various time periods, considering it to be one of mankind's biggest flaws, especially in societies that choose to remain backward for no reason other than to suit their superior or inferior complexes.
But while the humans deserve to face the consequences for their brutal treatment to Adepts, Desna felt sadden by the prospect that innocents would be caught in the crossfire also, as not all of humans are horrible people and vice versa due to her experiences.
More saddenly is that Desna's aware about Eden's true goals yet refuse to oppose them due to her teammates having powerful Septimas or are very good with making multiples uses of their powers, especially their leader, who can make very dangerous illusions at her disposal.
As Desna continues to walk she notices Milas is acting quieter than usual, making her wonder what's going on.
"Milas, is something wrong?" Desna asked the Aerodynanic Merman quiet enough to avoid drawing the others' attention.
"Huh?" Milas wondered before looking at the concerned Starstruck Beauty in front of him. "Oh, I'm just thinking about how things will turn out tommorow."
"I had similar thoughts like that also," Desna nodded.
The Starstruck Beauty and the Aerodynanic Merman look at each other, wondering how they could say something without getting the wrong idea in the process.
"Do you ever consider talking later in the evening?" Desna suggested, not wanting to use her observation skills. "It might help ease some of our internal thoughts about it."
"I'll think about it," Milas replied, feeling unsure about himself. "I'll be going to my quarters. You?"
"Same thing."
"Alright."
As the two of the G7 walk back to their seperate quarters, an idea slowly starts to form in their minds with a particular topic: What do they really think of humanity with Eden strking back? And a more pressing one in their minds: How will other Adepts react to mankind's destruction?
