John Egbert sat on the deck of their golden ship, legs pretzeled and back hunched over as he sighed, boredly watching colors fly by them as they moved through space. He could hardly take it anymore. Everything he was capable of doing on this ship- with or without company from the other's inhabiting the ship- was becoming more and more uninteresting. Each day was slightly more dreadful than the next.
He released a sigh, long and intentionally depressing just to assure himself of how much he hated this experience. At first everything seemed great!- on a ship with his sister Jade and Davesprite, along with many salamanders from his land, but then everything just seemed to repeat itself.
It was only then that a solution sparked into the male's mind, and his posture shot up to life with such a realization. Flipping himself onto his fours and scrambling to his feet, John dashed towards the ship in search of the person who could solve his problems.

The female was found cheerfully chatting with one of the salamanders that John preferred, Casey. He couldn't stand leaving her behind of all beings, and took her with. In fact, she may have even been his first choice after the obvious Davesprite to accompany the two on their journey.
Presence having apparently not been noticed, John decided to catch his sister's attention with a tap on the shoulder. It worked, and her round spectacles were soon pointed in his direction, a light smile gracing her features, conveying to him that she was in a positive mood as he usually saw from her. It was a blessing, how out of everyone, their conflicts, and the repeating events, she always remained smiling. It brought the sanity back to him being in her presence.
Clearing his throat, John voiced his question to her with a hopeful expression, "Hey Jade! Would it be too much to ask if you could take me somewhere?"
The method of transportation was understood between the two, the female being the Witch of Space, and was therefor granted the powers of manipulating it and transporting people wherever they wanted within the universe. It couldn't have been any more convenient for the Egbert in this situation.
"Of course not! Where would you like to go?" Jade had brought up the topic earlier in their journey, telling her brother that she would take him anywhere he wanted to go- and the only condition to that was that he had to ask. It was rejected, but she let him know then that the offer remained standing.
"Anywhere, just take me somewhere."
There was a nod and an enthusiastic hum from the girl, who in turn began to summon up a small planet. John's deep blue eyes admired the miniature rock in awe at her abilities, even now still finding them to be about the most interesting thing on the ship. And soon enough, he was scaled to a smaller size as well, and then transported safely to the planet.
