the captain and the princess

so this is a follow up on when Ianto meets the queen or actually it's a one shot on how Elizabeth II met jack.

So here we go then

1942, a year after jack would've gone missing and said captain was strolling around the streets, he didn't know where to go at the moment. You might ask why? Well he (died) last year so going back to the army wasn't possible, TORCHWOOD kicked him out for the next couple of years because he didn't kill some alien and now he didn't know what to do. He didn't even know where he was at the moment, his RAF-uniform was in good condition thanks to a nice old woman he met 3 days previous so he looked more like a stranded captain then a dead captain but still, what would he do now?

Jack was so lost in his thoughts that he hadn't seen the carriage come from around the corner he did however hear the yell before it was to late so he jumped of the path just in time to not get trampled….again. "Oi lad are you out of yer mind?!" jack looks up at the driver of the carriage and smiles "I'm sorry I was lost on the path of life my friend" jack winches oh he would think of a way to get back at rose for showing him that stupid anime character!
deep in thought again about his old friend he doesn't see a young woman get out and stand before him "well, getting lost on a one way road is certainly an achievement I must say captain"

Jack looks at the young lady with shock. 'holy shitload with a tardis that's Elizabeth II, damn she's kinda cute' plastering on a charming smile he quickly stands "Captain Jack Harkness your majesty and might I say looking good ma'am" the carriage driver looks shocked at the bashful American " lad that's ye princess you're talking to ey" Elizabeth smiles "Johnson get back on the carriage I can handle captain Harkness on my own thank you"

Jack smiles liz was a feisty girl. "so captain what is an American volunteer doing in Berkshire?" jack blinks he walked to Berkshire from Cardiff? Jack groans "oh you've got to be kidding me, curse you Lillian for sacking me I've walked to Berkshire without noticing…. Bloody TORCHWOOD" Elizabeth looks up at the captain with shock "TORCHWOOD? Ah I see you're one of those agents, well captain come on let's go back to Windsor castle.

In the carriage they talk, and not about stupid things, jack tells her about TORCHWOOD, about his travels around the world and then, he tells her about his immortality. "so you're the immortal freelancer of TORCHWOOD Cardiff?" Elizabeth asks wide eyed. The captain nods "yes, I don't know how or why but the Doctor left me on that game station and 4 years after that I get shot through the hearth… I woke up in the alley I died in and nothing but the blood around me to show I died at all"

The young princess smiles bitterly "how awful, I read through a few of the old reports, from miss Holroyd and miss Guppy, they seem to enjoy…. Your stay with them" she says disgusted.

Jack smirks "I've been through worse lizy, but anyway there's no interest in talking about me, tell me how come a beautiful princess like you doesn't have a bodyguard at all?" Elizabeth laughs "well captain Harkness are you offering?" the sly smirk on jack's face makes her smile "well I do need a job until TORCHWOOD get's a new leader and that'll take at least a few years, I wouldn't mind such company as yourself at all"

"well then captain welcome to the royal guards"

So that's how jack met the queen, how they went from here till Ianto met her? Go wild and think of something and write it out, just give me some credit for the idea if you got your inspiration here please that's all I ask ^^
