Bound to winter snow
Blowing lithely in the wind
Turning slowly to face the sun
Flowers grow and live and bend
Not answering to anyone
A summer day, a summer breeze
Beckoning the flowers to bloom
And apples growing on the trees
Fill the air with sweet perfume
Then in a blink it fades away
Though I do not want it to go
This vision of a summer's day
Is blotted out by winter's snow
This barren wasteland stretches far
Beyond any mere mortals eye
I wish upon a lonely star
That far away from here I'll fly
Yet still I know it in my heart
That I was never meant to go
That I was trapped here from the start
My soul is bound to winter snow.
