(A/N: Suppose Ashley had been in the episode "The Tomorrow Boys" and joined Jimmy and his friends when they decided to check out the future. This fic tells what would've happened during the part that takes place in the (bad) future. And for those of you who haven't read my past fics for "Jimmy Neutron", Ashley is my OC for the series, and you can find her bio on my profile. Enjoy!)

Jimmy, Carl, Sheen, and Ashley were quite shocked to find that the future looked bad; the complete opposite of what they'd seen not so long ago. But once they found out what happened, they had to get back to the present to fix the future. Jimmy said that to do it, they'd go to the smartest guy in town.

"But you're him, and you're right here!" Ashley exclaimed.

"I'm talking about my future self, Ashley." Jimmy said.

"Oh, okay." Ashley replied.

It turns out that Future Jimmy was living in the clubhouse, which also housed his lab. Surprisingly, Ashley's future self was there, too! (A/N: Because Ashley's future self is around, we'll call 5-year-old Ashley 'Present Ashley'.)

"Cool! My future self!" Present Ashley grinned, and she ran to hug her future self.

"This is kinda awkward, but nice." said Future Ashley as she hugged her past self back.

"I don't like how the future looks so dull and depressing." Present Ashley sighed.

"Yeah, it's bad, but there's only one thing that keeps me from going insane." Future Ashley said.

"What would that be?" Present Ashley wanted to know.

Before Future Ashley could speak, they heard a familiar voice shout "NERD-TRON!" And Future Cindy came out of the lab, saying something about her mom's feet.

"Cindy's here?! Sweeeeeeeet!" Present Ashley said, grinning like the Cheshire Cat.

"Wait until you find out why she's here!" Future Ashley whispered, sounding happy.

"Cindy, could you not call me 'Nerd-tron', now that we're, like, married?" Future Jimmy asked Future Cindy. That one went right over Present Ashley's head, and she had to find out if she heard correctly.

"Married?! My brother and Cindy are married in the future?!" Present Ashley exclaimed, her voice growing high-pitched from excitement.

"That's right!" Future Ashley grinned, knowing what her past self would do.

"I WAS RIGHT! I WAS RIGHT! I WAS RIGHT!" Present Ashley shrieked, bouncing off the walls with excitement, though her happiness was cut short by Present Jimmy screaming, "NOOOOO!" In fact, he held that scream for several minutes.

When he stopped screaming, Present Ashley walked over to him, looked him straight in the eyes, and asked in a loud voice, "Why you ackin' so cray-cray?!" (A/N: Ashley's line came from an episode of "Gravity Falls".)

Upon hearing Present Ashley's question, Future Jimmy, Future Ashley, Present Carl, and Present Sheen burst out laughing.

"Because I'm married to CINDY!" Present Jimmy said.

"So?" Present Ashley said, still excited.

"Cindy's not the right girl!" Present Jimmy said.

"Yes, she is!" Present and Future Ashley said in unison.

"Who asked you?" Present Jimmy said.

"Nobody. We knew it from the start! Didn't we?" Future Ashley asked her past self, and they high-fived.

Well, even though Present Jimmy, Ashley, Carl, Sheen, and Goddard managed to fix things so the future wouldn't be dull, Ashley still wouldn't let go of the fact that she was right about Jimmy and Cindy ending up together, much to Jimmy's dismay.
