|FIRST OFF, I WOULD LIKE TO THANK MY WONDERFUL BETA, Rye Lee FOR THEIR HELP IN THIS STORIES CREATION!|

"Her name is Heather Michaels, She is 14 years of age."

Captain Mitchell spoke about the scarcely collected information scattered on the table.

"I know her," Carter was the first to speak out. "she sometimes cooks for us and cleans our gear."

He said as he looked down. "Unfortunately, she's been coming around a lot less lately"

"Thank you, Carter." Captain Mitchell spoke again.

" As I was saying, not much is known about her. All we really know is that she stays close to only two other teens, Kenny Aronez, and Shadow. They attend the local high school, and she lives on her own."

"She's that young and lives on her own?" Dana looked at the Captain skeptically.

The Captain sighed. "Yes, she lives on her own."

"Sooooo...why do we need to know about her?" Joel asked, as he leant back in his chair.

"Because, she is our sapphire ranger."

Everyone in the room looked skeptically at Captain Mitchell and the few pictures of the girl.

"Yes, she is the sapphire ranger."

As soon as that was said, an alarm started going off, making everyone jump out of their seats. Carter was the first to race out of the room.

When the group of teens arrived at the scene, they were just in time to see Heather, Kenny and Shadow run into the blocked entrance of the building, breaking the door with what seemed like amazing ease. Heather was at the lead, rushing into the building like a bolt of lightning, the three so close they may have even been pushing against each other trying to get inside.

"What kind of fire is it?" Carter asked the closest fire fighter to him.

"It's a gas fire, sir."

|-AUTHOR'S NOTE: Alright! I understand that right now you may be having a hard time visualizing my characters and events, and that this chapter may be a little short, but I promise that it will get easier to understand and be better in the next few chapters!|
