It was the first day of summer and Katie woke up and looked around her cabin. Everything was orderly and clean, outside nothing was wrong. "That's weird" she said to herself, usually on the first day of summer the Stoll brothers would prank the most. And everything was quiet, even if it was only 5:07 am. Katie decided not to worry about that, it's better like this she thought. When she reached the pavilion, nobody was there but then she found Connor sitting by himself in the Hermes table, she went up to him and wondered why Travis wasn't with him.

"Connor, where's Travis?"

"I have the same question,I don't know where he is too."

Now if the Stoll brothers would be doing a prank,why would Travis not tell Connor. Unless it was just an act Katie thought to herself. After breakfast she decided to try to find Travis. She was about to give up when she found Travis in the forest. He was setting up a table for two and around the table was a lot of flowers with different colors. Katie wondered what this was 'probably some prank' she said to herself while walking out the forest. For the rest of the day nothing happened,but Travis was acting weird,he kept coming to Katie and trying to talk to her,but she kept ignoring him. After dinner was the sing-along and Travis tried to talk to Katie again but once again,she ignored him. Travis got mad and annoyed at this.

"why won't you talk to me?" Travis exclaimed "what's wrong with me?"

"um you're childish,annoying and have no respect in people!" Katie replied

"I just wanna tell you something"

"what?"

"meet me in the forest tomorrow night" he said and headed for the Hermes cabin.

Katie didn't know what to say,what if this was more than a prank and she wanted to find out. The next night before dinner Katie waited for Travis in the entrance of the forest. After a few minutes,Travis appeared and offered his hand.

"you ready?"

"is this some kind of prank?" Katie asked stupidly

"no…just something"

Katie took his hand and he lead her deep in the forest. Travis took her to the place where Katie saw him setting up. Candles were lit everywhere and food was in the table. Suddenly Katie felt nervous 'could this be a date?' she thought.

"um Travis,what's this?"

"dinner" he said pulling a seat and gestured towards it. Katie sat down and looked at the food. It looked delicous,it looked like food from the pavilion.

"Travis,you stole this food?"

"maybe."

Katie didn't bother to protest. And she was really hungry so she dug in. After the dinner there was an awkward silence then Travis spoke up.

"so you like it?"

"well I eat this almost everyday so yeah"

"no,I mean the flowers and everything else"

"oh yeah it's lovely…thanks"

Katie was blushing. She never felt this way,sometimes she liked Travis and can't believe he liked him.

"is this a date?" Katie blurted

"um…you can say that" Travis replied blushing too.

There was another awkward silence then Travis stood up and said.

"um Katie I'm sorry for all the mess I gave you."

"it's okay." Katie said starting to smile.

"we should get out of here before we're seen"

"yeah" Then they went out of he forest. When they reached outside Katie turned to Travis and held his hand.

"thanks a lot,Travis"

"you're…you're welcome, listen Katie can we be friends?"

"sure"

Katie giggled and kissed him then walked off leaving Travis in a trance. It was probably the best night of her life.
