She's led him to the brink of death and she's pinned him there with shirts made of lace, black bras and tiny underwear (all over the floor of her room and the rack in the laundry (all over the house)). He's pretty sure she's started doing it on purpose.

Well, she was just seventeen,

you know what I mean,

And the way she looked was way beyond compare.

Moving in with the Potters was the worst decision Teddy ever made. He remembers telling Lily. How she clasped her hands around his neck and smacked a kiss to his cheek.

She was only eleven and he was already twenty two. But she was cute and a kid and a great pal to have around because (even though it was humiliating to admit) she was the only one who ever really understood him.

But then she went to Hogwarts. And, at first, it was okay. Sure he saw her less often, but it made the holidays that much sweeter. And when she started Hogsmead weekends, they'd spend the whole day together. Everything was great, it was the same as before. Until she started getting taller. Before he knew it, she was curvy and long-legged (with soft shoulders and collarbones) and she was making friends with boys.

Now she's bloody seventeen and going through a crop top phase. And it's killing him.

She looked incredible

just turned seventeen

I guess my friends were right,

She's out of my league

So what am I to do?

She's too good to be true

Lily was fine when Teddy first moved in. Basically, he was her own personal jungle gym and playmate. They got really close over the summers. Once she was old enough for Hogsmead weekends, he visited her at Hogwarts.

But then she got older (13) and her friends got dumber (13). They started wearing kitten heels and lip gloss and "bumping" into her and Teddy at Hogsmead. They'd talk about his shoulders and his butt; they'd giggle and tell Lily to 'send him their love' in her letters.

Not long after, she cut ties with the airheads (with the help of one or two explosive episodes). She was mostly friends with guys now.

Today she's seventeen and he's twenty eight and she's in proper love with him and it's actually driving her crazy.

You are sixteen going on seventeen

Fellows will fall in line

Eager young lads and rogues and cads

will offer you food and wine

With prompting from Harry, Teddy decides to train as an Auror. He goes out more often and comes back much later than Lily is used to. She can't help but feel anxious since she's pretty sure her risk of loosing him just shot sky-high.

You really can't blame him when he snaps because now she's "lost" her bathrobe and has taken to strolling from the shower (down the long long hallway) to her room in the smallest towel that just barely covers her. A journey which, it seems, he is always in the hallway to witness.

So on Saturday morning, when her parents are off celebrating their anniversary, Teddy takes a shower and he "looses" his bathrobe. And Lily gets to deal with it.
