OFFICER POND
AU. Amy is an actual policewoman and Rory has a habit of running into her.

Amy Pond was driving a police car and patrolling the streets. She was the youngest at the station, having recently finished the academy, so the unwished-for duty had been given to her. She really felt that it was waste of time and petrol, like something would ever happen in Leadworth... She had been here three weeks and her most serious intervention was a stolen cow. ("Yes, Mr. Brown, I will do everything in my power to find Betty").
She was currently on the 4th route around the town and she focused more on planning her night, which in her case meant watching telly and drinking red wine. Suddenly, she saw a blue Ford which might be overspeeding. She glanced at the speedometer: 90 mph. That means 20 mph above the limit.
"Gotcha" she muttered to herself as she switched on the siren and rushed after the car.
The chase wasn't long, having heard the oncoming police car, the driver pulled off almost immediately.
Amy parked right behind the car, then looked in the mirror practicing her most authoritative face. It was a warm day so she didn't have her helmet, her ginger hair was loosely hanging on her shoulders. She stepped out of the vehicle, readjusted her uniform and strode towards the car. The front window was already pulled down and she could see a young, blonde-haired man. What caught her attention, though, was his expression. He was utterly, totally, absolutely terrified.
She wanted to laugh, but she reminded herself to be professional and follow the procedure.
"Morning. Driving a little too fast, weren't we?
"I'm really, really sorry, officer- he looked at her, worried that he offended her "Sorry, should I call you officer? I've never interacted with representatives of law enforcement before"
She smirked. "Officer is fine. Now please show me your documents"
The man nervously searched his pockets "Here" he extended his arm which was visibly shaking.
Amy looked at the license. "Rory Williams" she read aloud. "Mister Williams, my gadgets show 20 mph above the limit"
"I'm very sorry. It's just, I was hold up at work because there was this accident at mall and today's my godson's third birthday" he pointed at the package on the seat " and I promised my sister to be there on time. She's going to kill me and I'm going to be dead".
Amy was watching him as he rambled on and she couldn't help but think that he was kind of cute.
"It can't be that bad" she tried to be sympathetic.
"Oh, you've obviously never met my sister. Officer " he added quickly.
"Listen, this time I'm giving you a warning, but one more incident like this and the consequences will be more serious. Am I clear?"
"Crystal" he was relieved that he would not be paying a ticket. He was already broke after purchasing the gift for his nephew. "Thank you. Can I go now?"
"Yes" she handed him the license. He wanted to take it but she didn't let go.
"I am sure you sister will appreciate that you're thinking about boy's future" she spoke up. Rory eyed her, confused. "As he won't be able to use this toy until he's like seven" she grinned and walked away. She didn't turn back but she could swear she could hear a noise which she recognized as someone's head crashing on the steering wheel.
Her smile deepened as she shook her head.
Maybe patrols aren't always boring
