Obsessions

Disclaimer: What with the not owning of Naruto and all things of that kind.

A short Sasu/Naru fanfic. My first in fact so please be nice, no flames, but good suggestions would be great. So, on lets get on with. Enjoy!

One look in your eyes, just one and I am gone. I can't think, I can't breathe, the world stops when you are here with me. But you can never know, can you? So I sit and watch you, contemplating the way you move as you spare with Kakashi-sensei. I suppose you can feel my eyes on you, because you looked up. But, in training you should know better. I chuckle a little as Sensei knocks you too the ground.

"You should pay more attention Naruto!"

There sensei goes, lecturing you again. I wonder if Kakashi-sensei can tell what is going on. It has been happening for a while. I just can't keep my eyes off of you. I jump down, making a point to keep my hands in my pockets, and my posture the same. I lean against the tree trunk never removing my eyes from you. Almost without thinking I grab my kunai and block a series of stars heading my way.

"Stay on you guard Saskue, never let it down"

My only reply is to nod my head. Though now I hold a grimace on my face. Sensei is right. I had let my guard down. But I have no idea how to stop this obsession with you Naruto. What ever you do, just stay way from me. Please. I don't know what I would do if I had too…."Naruto! Move!"

I run at you, when did you start staring back at me? You look so confused as I ram into you effectively knocking you down to the ground, as two kunai just graze past my ear. I glare up at sensei, which is now crouched down beside us.

"You might want to get off of Naruto now Saskue"

I jump off of you in surprise; both our faces are bright red as I turn away, staring at the ground.

Kakashi looks at from Naruto to me and back. "You both seem to be rather distracted," calmly he gets up to his feet, "Work it out you two," then turning away from us and looking into the sky, "any way possible." With that he jumps into the tree and disappears into the forest.

"I guess he did notice," I say aloud with out thinking.

"Notice what?" You as me, you look so adorable when you are confused.

"Ummm…nothing"

"Don't nothing me," even better when you are flustered, "what was Kakashi-sensei talking about"

All I can do is sit in silence staring at you Naruto. I don't have the slightest clue as how to respond. I wouldn't know what to say if I had a script in hand. You make me lose all track of sense. If only….

"Saskue?"

How did you get so close, you're almost nose-to-nose with me now. I blush and look down again. "Yeah," I mutter.

"Why are you blushing?"

I look up at you again, then I close the gap between us. Oh well, I guess it had to happen sooner or later. And now you know. You look just as cute blushing as anything else in the world. Maybe this will turn out better than I had hoped. I don't think I deserve this chance, but after all, it was what Kakashi-sensei meant right? "That's why Naruto"

"Oh…."

Then looking back at me you cock your head to one side. An expression of realization strikes your face as you tackle me to the ground letting our lips crash together. I guess I am not the only one with an obsession.
