"I remember..."
Minako Arisato looked away from almost glaring at the sky from the bench she was sitting at as she watched a familiar pink sweater moving closer until it joined her at the bench. The former Wild Card user tried to smile cheerfully. "Yukari..."
"The others will be here soon." the brunette spoke with convictition. There seemed to be no doubt in her mind that the others would remember and meet them up here, as they had promised all those months ago. "... are you tired?"
The other nodded and laid her head down on her lap, Yukari taking up to brushing her hair from her face. It felt good as Minako smiled up at her, feeling so tired as though she just had to take a nap... her eyes... they felt heavy, too.
"You should rest." Yukari's smile, usually so happy and fun-loving in peaceful times, was now bitter and almost tragic. "You deserve to do it... after all the crap we put you through..."
The sounds of what could only be Junpei shouting in glee soon reached their ears, causing the brunette to chuckle in a sorrowful way. The leader frowned and reached up to brush a stray tear away.
"I'm sorry..." she whispered as the brunette shook her head.
"N-No... it's fine. I will be with you... y-you... can sleep peacefully now." Yukari smiled again, but this time it was more sincere. "... I will be here, remember that... promise?"
"Promise..." Minako slowly reached out with her pinkie for the Lovers Arcana ones as the door burst open with the joyful shouts of their comrades. "... thank you, Yukari. I knew I could count on you."
With that, she closed her eyes.
