This is a prologue, my story isn't this short!
A soft glow of light shined on her pale skin. Her brows were furrowed and eyes clenched together. Beads of sweat decorated her face as her breathing became uneven. With a sharp gasp, her eyes snapped open. The pale teen slowly sat up while holding her throbbing head. Her breathing soon became even, soothing her headache abit.
"Reina! Come on or we're going to be late!" Liu, her older brother, shouted from downstairs. Sighing, she got out of her warm bed reluctantly.
"I'll be down in a minute!" She dashed into her bathroom which was small compared to her room.
She did a quick morning routine since she didn't have a lot of time and came back out. She grabbed her uniform and such. She quickly put them on, hearing someone coming up the stairs. By the time she reached for her phone, her brother barged into the room.
"Reina, let's go! You don't want to be late for our first day do you?" She sighed. Picking her phone up and grabbing her black bookbag, she followed Liu out of the door.
"Mom, dad, we're leaving!" They shouted at the same time. Their mother walked in with a smile on her face.
"Have a good day and Liu," He turned towards her while Reina began to walk out of the house. "Make sure Reina doesn't lose herself, okay?"
''But what if it does?" He asked even though he knew the answer.
Her facial expression turned from friendly to serious. "You must do that."
Liu's eyes glowed a golden color while his 'mother's' was red. "Yes, Madam Red."
"Good, now move along Grell."
'Liu' turned on his heel before running after Reina at inhuman speeds. He caught up with the oblivious Reina behind him. He chuckled before tapping her shoulder, her eyes were still glazed over as if she wasn't even there. He frowned.
That's not good...this will be troublesome.
