The young teenager watched the jedi battle with the Sith from the comfort of the shadows. She had heard tales and now she was seeing one before her eyes, and fighting, too. The jedi who fought was a young man, barely a knight by the looks of him, but he was skilled in fighting the dark side, parrying the blows with his blue lightsaber. The Sith was also one to be admired, but he was older, more experienced and enjoying the fight immensely believing the young jedi stood no chance against the power of the dark side. Growing bored with the fight dragging on, the Sith, hit the young man with force lightning, making him reel in pain. As the young man valiantly tried to fight, the Sith reignited his saber for the killing blow.

"No!" the girl gasped jumping from her hiding place a stick in one hand, a rock in the other.

"Foolish, girl, you think you can defeat me with those," the Sith laughed, it was the girl who had the last laugh as the jedi quickly ignited his saber again piercing the Sith as he was distracted.

The jedi collapsed now, exhausted mentally and physically. The girl ran to the jedi's side and checked his pulse. She felt the familiar tingling sensation that her parents had always said she imagined, but she knew was real as she touched the man. Something was pouring out of her into him and the last thing she remembered was his eyes opening as everything went black.
