James and Lily Potter had been dead for a long time. Dead, but never forgotten. Even to those who barely knew them. Without their deaths, Harry Potter would have died, and Voldemort wouldn't have been forced into a ten year secession.
But unknown to the land of the living, James and Lily Potter weren't completely gone. There was a reason why no one living knew. A reason Sirius Black would soon find out.
