"There is no good in finding solace in the opinions of others upon yourself unless you can first find solace in your own opinions upon yourself"

Monk had been wandering for hours, searching for them, he had heard reports of attacks and muggings going on within this part of the woods.

The thing about Monk is that he didn't know who he was, he was in the midst of a sudden identity crisis and was hoping to find himself and his purpose deep within combat, so the first chance he got he forged some chakrams and inscribed word into them.

"Amina" and "Corporis" or mind and body, he felt that once his soul was committed to attacking someone all he needed to use were his mind and body to follow along with his souls intent, he felt as if his Mind and Body were only tools of his angered soul.

After wandering for so long he finally came across a small camp of what seemed to be bandits.

The camp was a few simple tents with a small fence made of pikes around it, he smiled and walked forward, stopping at one of the tents and crouching to look in.

There was a figure within the tent who looked at him completely shocked, the figure sat up quickly and rushed him, the man tackled Monk down to the ground and pinned him.

Monk began feeling around to find his Amina and Corporis, once he did he thrusted them into the man, his aura taking the brunt of it.

The bandits aura shattered and Monk uses the opportunity to flip the attack and pin the bandit to the ground.

Monk questioned him "Why!?"

"Wh-why what!?"

"Why did you attack those people!"

Monk's voice only rose and it served to wake the other members and they all began getting out of their tents, Monk held Amina against the bandit's throat.

"His aura is gone! Move one more fucking step and I'll slit this assholes throat!"

One of the bandits responded "Oh Tanner? He IS an asshole, you can kill em'"

Monk Sighed and instead bashed his head in to knock him unconscious "All of you seem like assholes"

He stood up and stretched, Five bandits were in front of him in a crescent formation, he swung his arm back and did a spinning motion, releasing Amina half way through and letting it glide through the air, pegging and knocking down each of the bandits and depleting their aura, all except one who stood back up with a smile on his face.

The Bandit rushed him and Monk simply stepped out of the way, letting the bandit rush past him, Monk giggled.

"Oi bitch~ how stupid are you?"

The bandit shook his head and reached behind his back, revealing a long scimitar, the bandit smiled and rushed back at him.

Monk pulled out Corporis and spun out of the way again, holding Corporis in his hand he went to use the momentum from his spin to drive Corporis into the bandits back but the bandit quickly flung his scimitar behind his back to block the chakram with a loud -Clang!-

The bandit laughed "Don't try things twice"

"Nah, that was slightly different...I did a cool spin" he laughed and pulled the chakram away, they each jumped back to put a distance between each other.

The bandit stood still and after a few awkward moments, Monk broke the silence

"...So...who's...ykno...gonna throw the next swing?"

the bandit laughed and rushed him again, Monk threw his chakram again, the bandit swung his scimitar and threw it away, Monk became genuinely afraid as now he had no weapon.

The bandit swung his scimitar again, Monk having no time to dodge as he had been focused on how to get his chakrams back, he was flung against a tree, sending cracks through the brunt of it.

Monk yelped in pain as his aura shattered and he slid to the ground with a groan, when he looked up he saw the bandit right in front of him with his scimitar lifted, about to swing it down on the defenseless Monk.

Monk mustered the strength to fling himself out of the way and begin to stand, albeit wobbly he walked over to the bandit and fell on him, knocking the bandit to the ground.

Something strange began to happen.

Something new.

Monk's aura quickly regenerated and the bandits quickly depleted, leaving them both confused.

"Fuck...I didn't know you had your semblance unlocked" the bandit sighed and Monk giggled.

"I...didn't...not until know" he smiled and continued "So...what? I just eat aura" he scoffed "that's handy" he stood up.

Looking down at the bandit he shook his head "Are you six going to trouble these fine people ever again?"

"I w-would but..." Monk tilted his head.

"Hmm? but what?"

"They wouldn't let us!"

"Who?"

"I c-can't say!"

"Goodbye then" he lifted the bandits scimitar off of the ground and held it over his throat

"N-no! the Chromic Storm!"

"Who?"

"Some h-huge group"

"Of bandits?"

"Y-yeah but I h-hear they're a part of some big military"

"Big? like Atlas big?"

"Y-yeah"

"Then how come I've never heard of then" he sighed

"That's just the rumor!"

"Aren't you part of this supergroup?"

"Y-yeah but small fry...I don't know everything"

"Hmm...okay then"

Monk lifted his foot over the bandits face and he didn't even have the energy to block his face as he slammed his foot down.

Black.

Black.

And when he woke up he'd have a headache but if more detail was put into that then the story would just focus on the bandit.

And it doesn't.

It focuses on team MOMB.

Team MOMB of Beacon, but we're not there yet...
