While Jack was heading to his destination a bouncer big daddy flew through a glass window on fire. "AHHHHHHHHH" a little sister screamed. Atlas started to talk, "It's a little one, here's your chance to get some ADAM." Jack walked through the door to see a splicer confronting a little sister, "It's just you and me, and all the tasty ADAM I can drink." He lifted his pipe and the little sister screamed and fell down. Right before he hit her Tenenbaum shot his left shoulder spewing blood onto the floor. He looked up at her "No! Nug!" She quickly shot him in the face. "Stay away from her or it will be you who gets shot next!". Tenenbaum shouted at him. "Easy their Doctor, he's just looking for a wee bit of ADAM to get by", Atlas said hopping she would understand. "I will not have him hurt my little ones!" She said frowning. "It's ok lad, it's not a child, not any more it ain't, Dr. Tenenbaum saw to that", He said softly. "Bitte, do not hurt. Have you no heart?" She said quietly talking.
Atlas started to speak again,"Aye. That's a pretty sermon coming from the ghoul who cooked up them creatures in the first place. Took fine little girls and turn them into that. Didn't you? listen to me. Boyo: You won't survive without the ADAM those...things...are carrying. Are you prepared to trade your life? The lives of my wife and child for Tenenbaum's little Frankensteins?"
"Here! There is another way...use this. Free them from there torment...I will make it to be worth your while...somehow." She threw a tonic to Jack.
He grabbed it and looked at the bright red glow it showed off. Jack slowly walked over to the girl while she scooted back into a table in fear. He thought about it for a while and made his decision. Jack picked the little sister up and she kept screaming,"No, No Stop!" she squealed trying to push his hand back. Jack then shoved his hand into her little stomach and grabbed the nesting slug and squeezed it crushing its insides killing it. He gently laid the little girl down on the wet floor with a small bloody hole in her and one last tear rolling down her finally normal eyes that Jack then closed. Jack couldn't believe what he just did and fell to his knees, and started to cry. For the rest of his life he will remember, regret, and cry.
