Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto.

Status: Incomplete

New thing I'm trying out: Sasuke-centric. (I know, I'm surprised too.)

It smelled of death.

That's what he thought war was like. It was death and destruction and so much anger—so much hate it burns him—and he wants it all to go back. He needs it all to go back, go back, go back, please

Madara looms on the horizon, his white hair flowing behind him like a tidal wave of what is to come and a part of him, the little boy that cries in the back of his mind, wants to go home; home to his mother's flower garden, to his father's dojo and curl into the love his parents have built.

It is when the Bijuu erupts out of Naruto that Sasuke realizes that they are losing.

Tell me what you think :) Hope you all like it :)
