Guidelines
In TenTen's world there is Good and Bad, Right and Wrong, Heaven and Hell.
There is a world outside of TenTen's world, though, and in that world, things are not so clear-cut.
She lives in a world where people learn to insult others before they learn to compliment them.
She lives in a world where people learn to kill before they learn to climb trees.
She lives in a world where people don't understand that there is Good and Bad, Right and Wrong, or Heaven and Hell.
Sometimes, especially after really bloody missions, she prays. She prays for those that she has killed, and hopes that they didn't have kids or a sweetheart. She prays for her Bad, and her Wrong, and because some shinobi die when they run out of weapons…and because she has so many weapons.
TenTen prays for those who don't realize that they are Bad or Wrong, people who don't know that when they die—when someone with too many weapons (like her) kills them—they will go to Hell.
TenTen prays she will live long enough to show everyone that they can be Good and Right, and that they can go to Heaven. She prays for those who don't see the world like she does, for those who don't have a world of their own and a set of rules for that very world.
She prays because she puts herself and her guidelines above everyone else, and isn't that a sin too? Isn't that Bad, and Wrong, and won't she go to Hell?
TenTen prays because there is Good and Bad, Right and Wrong, Heaven and Hell.
And she really doesn't want to go to Hell.
