My ocean blue orbs descried her unconscious form, lying in the hospital bed. She was tucked under thin white sheets as her head rested on a soft white pillow. Her eyelids were shut and her pink lips were parted slightly as she tried to breathe through them. Her chest moved up and down in a steady pace. She was breathing normally, which made me calm down and sigh out in relief. My hand entwined with her hand and held it tightly. Saya is an extraordinary fighter. She held her own against Cell and almost came to defeating him. She grew up to be a very beautiful and amazing super Saiyan. The first time I fought her ten years ago, I knew it was fate. My fingers grazed the one strand of hair away from her peaceful face. Her eyes scrunched up, before they fluttered open. They immediately turned towards me.
"Trunks..?" Saya asked me.
My lips curved into a smile as I nodded my head. My arms embraced her form and tightly hugged her to my chest. Saya was caught by surprise, causing her lips to let out a gasp.
"T…Trunks…?" She asked me again, but more nervously.
"I'm so glad you're doing alright." I whispered to her.
Her body calmed down and relaxed into my embrace. Saya nodded her head.
"You were so amazing, Saya-chan. You grew up to be a beautiful and extraordinary super Saiyan. I'm deeply impressed at how much you've changed over the past ten years." I whispered to her again.
"But…I didn't defeat him."
I shook my head from side to side.
"No, but you came really close to and that's good enough for me."
"I'm glad. You don't know how much that means to me." She whispered to me.
I parted from her and gazed down into her dark brown orbs. I gently grasped her chin with my thumb and index finger and leaned her lips onto mine. A tint of pink emerged on cheeks as she closed her eyes. My lips finally captured hers in pure bliss. Her lips felt so soft and moist. I felt her arms wrap themselves around my neck and pulled me closer to her, deepening our passionate kiss. I embraced her back tightly because I never wanted to let her go.
