AN: I always wondered why Miss Weasley had to ask for the platform number, and I didn't want her to be bad, so this is what I came up with…

Molly Weasley loved all her children, and the younger they were, the more she loved them. Or the older. She never could decide, and liked it that way.

Then, one child, her last one, was a girl. She loved this one more then any of the others, although she made certain to love them all equally.

When Ginny first came to platform 9 ¾, she said her first word that wasn't mama or papa. It was a sweet cry of "Nin, Nin!" and after that day, Ginny never forgot the platform number. It became tradition, and every time they went to the platform Miss Weasley asked Ginny the number.
