Ever since she was a little girl she always wondered who would be the one to lie beside her as she slept. Who would hold her at night, when her night terrors consume her? Kiss her as she lies herself to bed. Who will take care of her as her world falls apart around her? She just wants to know who would take the time to do all that.
The one who would wait for her return; be faithful to her until the end of time. The one that sweeps her troubles away and tells her that he believes in her. The one that makes her laugh when things don't go her way. Just someone to walk about the Quarter hand in hand without fear of the outcome.
Someone that can handle all the baggage she has to offer. Someone who doesn't scare off so easily and takes the time to nurse her wounds. That someone has been Marcel all this time. Always offering her things when he could; water if her throat is dry.
He started to build their nest. They were so close to settle down… He's the only one that always understood that she couldn't be tamed. He loved her all the same… He's the one that makes her laugh when she needs it. Makes her suffer when she needs a reality check. Marcel makes her feel human. And that's all she has ever wanted. To feel something other than a soulless being. He's the only that can handle her restless heart and demanding heart.
