A/N: Read. Enjoy. Review. With that out of the way, I really just wrote this because I was feeling like shit and needed a sweet story to calm me down. So, if you're having an emo moment, just read. Maybe it'll pick you up, eh?

Gray sky and pouring rain. The classroom window held a view of gray sky and pouring rain. Inside the classroom, a boy sat in a chair, laid back with his arms crossed. Except for the deluge outside, everything was silent. A girl in a simple uniform stood in the doorway. Her bright cinnamon eyes were transfixed on the sleeping figure.

His chest rose slightly. Up and down, up and down, following a continuos rhythm. The rest of his body was still and relaxed.

Sleeping.

The girl smiled at her love. His face was so innocent and young while he slept. She was content just to look at him, to be near him. It would be enough if they could stay like that forever. The past few weeks had been rough on the young couple. First the sports festival had separated the two, and then Asaba Hideaki wormed his way between them, trying his hardest to break the pair up.

The young woman held these rare moments of tranquility dear to her. It wasn't common that their busy schedules would allow a period of free time. And even when it did, they would usually spend it studying.

A dream. The two still figures were living a dream, at least for a while. Funny, though, how these two would rather mistake the dream for reality than go back to their normal lives.

Shiny jet black hair and smooth alabaster skin. A tall, slender frame. A calm voice and slanted dark eyes. The features of her love this girl liked best were exuded during his sleep.

She let out a soft sigh, disrupting the silence. Then she turned her head to face the clock on the wall. It was later than she had thought. A great deal of time had passed while she was watching over her beau.

Time to go, she thought sadly. The girl stepped inside the classroom and walked over to her love. Bending down, she planted a light kiss on his forehead.

"Goodbye, Arima," she said, before she walked out of the silent room, until she was outside in the torrential downpour.

A/N: It didn't turn out as sweet as I wanted it to be. And it didn't give me much of a pick up either. But if it gave you happy gushy feelings inside, by all means, REVIEW! And even if it didn't, review anyway and tell me how shitty it was.
