A/N: A little thing I thought would be appropriate for today. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I don't own any of the Characters, just the plot for this fanfic.

"Valentine's day?" C.C. asked curiously, her figure sprawled across the bed and an empty pizza box on her stomach. On the other side of the room, Lelouch was sitting behind his Laptop and looking up information that might come in handy in his fight against Britannia. He turned around and looked at her dully.

"Yes, Valentine's day," he said drily, "I'm surprised an immortal witch like yourself doesn't know about it. *Chuckle* then again, it wouldn't really interest you now, would it?"

C.C. sat up and asked, "And, why is that?"

"Valentine's day is known as a couple's day, where you give chocolate to the person you like and spend time with them and, in some cases, hook up."

"Ehh..." C.C. murmured, then added, "Shouldn't you be happy about it then, Lelouch?"

"Me?" Lelouch joked, "I don't have time to bother myself with trivial things like romance or girls. After all, Britannia isn't going to defeat itself."

C.C. smirked. "Really, now? Because you seemed to have been in quite a daze after the kiss with Shirley."

Lelouch jumped and glared at her while a blush crept onto his face. "Hey! You know it wasn't like that!"

"Haha, right, right... Wiping her memory and willingly becoming the school's couple was all a huge misunderstanding."

"Baka!" Lelouch yelled angrily and stood up, then made his way over to the door.

"And, where are you going?" C.C. inquired.

Lelouch whipped his head around, and said, "None of your business!"

C.C. smiled as she watched Lelouch storm out the room and slam the door behind him. She laid back down and stared at the ceiling.

"Maybe there is hope for him after all," she chuckled, "Right, Marianne?"
