Wolf and ice
neither one aware of the love
that lies in their souls
Both wanting to be great
Both needed to feel wanted
Each one afraid of the past
Now of the future
They'll meet on a night
with the stars above
Hate, fury, and disgust
will be overcome for all time
by love,calmness, and understanding
A secret it will be
neither one willing to reveal
the passion they feel for the other
then the mouth will open, the lips will speak
and they will both know
Together they will be
Not telling a soul
until the time is right
they remain enemies in the eyes of others
True love is rare
it comes with a mask
one that covers and hides
until you're ready to see beyond
then the mask falls away
and you're looking at destiny
