Summary: Jack and Kate celebrate Halloween in their own way.
A/N: I wanted to get this posted yesterday, but just didn't have the time. So I'm sorry if it's a day late, but I hope you all enjoy the drabble anyway.
Aaron dresses up as a cowboy (Kate thinking of another blonde haired man with a southern accent). The streets are filled with masks and mystery, shrieks of thrill (or terror) drifting through the air. Their little boy swinging between them, she eyes Jack doubtfully; reminded of days when horror stories came to life.
After a few blocks Aaron tires, despite Jack lifting the child onto his shoulders. When he's sound asleep upstairs, the two adults sneak to the living room, a bowl of candy between, a romantic comedy on the television, and their arms entwined. Thankful for each other; a beacon of hope on the darkest of nights.
