Wrath From The Past!

Hao survived the shaman tournment but lost all evil in his heart. He now lives with Yoh and Anna but what he does not know is something from his past is hunting him down. Rated M for possible character death.

Prologue

"It's been so long but I found his trail. I thought the trail had gone cold after the Shaman Tournament but it was in front of my eyes the whole time. I'll meet you at home soon so we can finish what you started 1,000 years ago. I will have your head soon Hao Asakura!" A figure covered in a hooded cloak jumped from a building disappearing in the fog.

Flashback 1,000 years ago

"The temples on fire! The temples on fire!" The people screamed trying to put out the fire. Away from the temple a ten year old boy ran up to the Hao in the past. "Why would you betray the Asakura? Why would you kill my parents?" The boy screamed at Hao as he was walking away. Hao turned around and shot a fireball into the kids head. The boy dropped while Hao spoke "Not dead yet. You are special aren't you? That means I'll just have to burn you to a crisp." Hao sent fire from his hand covering the boy in flames. "Why do you betray me Matamune?" A voice came from the smoke "I would never betray you Hao! But why? Why would you betray your family?" The smoke cleared and standing over the boy was a cat with two tails dress in a black robe holding a katana. Hao looked Matamune in the eyes "I will spare this boy for you today but next time we meet I will kill you. Matamune we are now enemies!" Hao tuned and walked away into the shadows. When Matamune lost sight of Hao he tuned his katana back into his pipe and checked on the boy "Do not worry child. I will go get the nearest doctor." The boy pushed himself up with one hand while the other covered his face "NO! I don't need anyone's help!" The boy stood up and straggled away. Matamune walked in the opposite direction of the boy and turned around when he heard a faint voice. "No matter how long it takes Hao I will kill you for what you have done today!"

End Flashback

It has been one year since the shaman tournament. The final strike to Hao had not killed him but removed all evil in his heart. He now lives at the inn with Anna and Yoh. He has not lost his personality but just lost the desire to kill all humans and others around him. Hao's life has changed for the better since the shaman tournament but Hao is unaware that a shadow from his past is hunting him down.
