I woke up with a jerk when someone knocked on the door. I heard someone groan next to me and grinned when I saw the sleepy smile of ADA Alex Cabot.
"Are you gonna answer the door or not detective?" she asked me yawning as the knock continued. I stood up and threw my robe on to cover the fact that I was naked. I stumbled to my door and yanked it open.
"El! What are you doing here?" I asked with a pissed look on my face.
"We got a lead! I figured you would want to know. Any way we just need Cabot to get us a warrant and we are home free!" he said I turned to get Alex before I realized he wasn't supposed to know about her presence.
"where are you going?" he asked
"er to call Alex?" I replied, more of a question than an answer.
"don't worry, I have her number," he said and before I could stop him he pressed call on his cell.
I groaned heartily and leaned against the wall to watch the inevitable play out.
"Ello?" I heard her sleepy voice from the bedroom. Elliot went pale. I saw him fight to swallow.
"Hello? Ell are you there." She asked and Elliot looked at me with a bewildered look on his face. In that moment he realized I was naked under my robe and he replied into the phone,
"in more ways than one." I heard the phone clatter to the floor and I fought back another groan. She came slowly out of the bedroom in another one of my robes and I began face palming.
Elliot stood motion and soundless and I just stood there blushing and shaking my head.
"Ah, um well Shit." Was all Alex was able to spit out.
"Ok um Lex we need a warrant and Elliot we need to go arrest a child molester so close that fly trap you call a mouth and lets go." I said, quickly taking control of the situation
"ok, I'll go wake up a judge!" Alex said and quickly retreated into my bedroom. I turned on Elliot.
"Yeah, Okay! Im gone!" He said, in reply to the deadly look on my face. As soon as he shut the door I walked into the bedroom.
"Well, Counselor, What do you think, Did we traumatize him for life?" I asked. She burst out laughing and shook her head.
"Yes. Yes I do." she laughed.
