Summary: she waited but he never came... Upon his return he was too late...
"You'll come back for me right?" she asked.
"I promise I'll come back." He promised and gave her his farewell kiss.
As her lover's figure disappeared into the crowd she promised to herself that she'll wait for him no matter how long it will take.
2 years has passed but still she hasn't lost hope and still held on to the promise that kept her going no matter what but he never returned, and that's when heart broke , the promise that was said never became solid, it was just a lie, her heart couldn't bare the pain, those words she held on to were nothing but empty promises.
Day by day the pain just didn't go away and only emenses even more, her once happy self was no longer there and only sadness replaced it, slowly as she no longer can bare the pain, with a final farewell she bade goodbye to the world where she had grown-up to and met him, which was in fact the reason why she suffered like this.
A year later her lover came back and unaware of the tragic fact that had be-fallen his beloved, but upon knowledge of what had happened his heart sank and regret filled his entire being.
At his lover's grave...
"I'm so sorry I came back to late, but I'm really sorry that I caused you so much pain, I never meant for this to happen it just did and I know I'm the one to blame." He cried at her grave." But I really loved you from the beginning and I have loved you more than anything for you are my only treasure." As he traced the name with pure endearment.
Wiping away his tears and straightening himself up he silently walked away from the grave, leaving a single flower on the slate. Going back to the place he was staying at.
He was currently staring into the night sky when suddenly a gust of wind passed him by, it was comforting as if a silent message from her that she had forgiven him.
