Tai's Advice: an all dialogue experiment

"Tai?"

"Davis? Is everything okay?"

"Well, there's this thing, right? And it's well… I wanted to ask you about it…"

"Oh? It's that important then, huh?"

"Well it's about Ken and I. Actually it's kinda about our digimon…. They digivolved together."

"You mean DNA digivolving, right? Izzy told me about that."

"Yeah. You and Matt did that too, right?"

"Yeah we did."

"How did you…um… feel afterwards?"

"Good, I guess. I don't know if what Matt and I did is exactly the same, but for me…it felt like we were protecting each other. Why do you ask?"

"For me it was really good, too. I think Ken liked it too, but now he's all weird about it. Then demiveemon said something like 'maybe he won't want to anymore' and I guess that really bugs me."

"Because you want to."

"Yeah."

"Look, Davis, it won't work unless you both want to."

"Yeah. I know."

"It's hard though, when people don't feel the same. You have to learn to let it go sometimes."

"That's my whole life though. I feel like no one ever agrees with how I feel. No one wants to do what I want to do. No one likes me as much as I like them. Maybe I'm just too annoying to be close to anything."

"You really like Ken, huh?"

"You really like Matt, don't you?"

"We are talking about you here."

"Fine, what should I do?"

"Talk to him?"

"but he won't listen to me!"

"Maybe there's a reason for that. Maybe he can't be trusted."

"Not you too! I believe in him. Krn's just a little lost and scared right now, but if I keep trying I know I'll get through to him. I can't just give up on him now!"

"Then trust him, and wait/"

"Is that what you would do if that was Matt we were talking about?"

"Nope. I'd punch him."

"…That might work."
