Ice Cream Flavors
Sonic the Hedgehog sped out of his house, going out for an evening run. The cobalt hero dashed up the side of a tree, did three sideways flips, and touched the ground perfectly, still running in the process. He smirked, and turned his head to the sunset.
It's a lonely world to be alone in, he thought to himself, so why don't I go hang out with Blaze! She's always alone… Sonic frowned at the thought. Blaze the Cat was a lavender feline with a fiery attitude, and had the power to control fire. Her childhood hadn't been the greatest, and he knew she liked to be alone. But… does she really?
The hedgehog stopped outside of Blaze's mansion. Blaze was a princess from another dimension 200 years into the future, but she wanted to have a vacation off in Sonic's world. Sonic thought that it was good for her, because she could be able to get out more. Truthfully, she hasn't left the house to have fun at all. He cleared his throat and knocked on her front door.
Blaze opened the door and Sonic gave his signature grin. "Did you miss me?" he said, and put his arm around her shoulders. Blaze flashed him a light smile, but it was gone as soon as it came. The feline grabbed Sonic's arm and lifted it off her shoulders, looking annoyed.
"Yes, I did," she replied, and closed the door after Sonic entered her home. She turned to him. "What are you doing here?" Sonic looked hurt. Had she not wanted to see him? He shrugged, and sat down on her couch with his feet on the wooden coffee table in front of him.
"Just came to visit, that's all," he answered, and looked down slowly. He brought his head back up. "Why? What were you going to do today?" Blaze's face reddened, but she shook it off and said, "I was going to go shopping," she replied, and looked away.
Sonic gave her an odd expression, "For what?"
"Ice cream."
There was an awkward pause, and Sonic decided to nod his head, standing up quickly. Blaze looked puzzled, and she said, "Sonic, what are you doing?" The cobalt hedgehog walked over to the door and turned to her. "I want some ice cream, too. Why don't we go buy some?"
Blaze just stood there, bewildered. "O-Okay?" Sonic nodded and motioned for Blaze to go forward out the front door. Sonic closed the door to her house and they both nodded to each other, dashing off of the porch and heading to the nearest grocery store.

The two friends arrived at the grocery store in about 2 seconds for how fast they were running. They slowed down when they noticed they were nearing the frozen isle. Blaze located the ice cream freezers and Sonic walked over.
"Okay, so what flavors do you want?" he asked, his emerald green eyes scanning the rows. Blaze was doing the same. "I don't know… vanilla is good," She answered, looking to the next freezer.
"So is peanut butter cup," Sonic suggested, pointing at it.
"How about chocolate-cherry."
"How about mint chocolate?"
Both hedgehog and cat said that at the same exact time, and they looked slowly over to each other. Sonic grinned and chuckled. "If you were ice cream, you'd be my favorite flavor."
Blaze blushed and said,"Oh, well then you're 'sweet'."
