Lars actually smiled as he pulled up to the little cabin. He and Silvio were taking a weekend away from everything. The Portuguese man had been complaining that Lars worked too much and they never saw each other for the past couple of months. It was a bit of an exaggeration, but their time together had been short. So Lars decided to surprise him with this little vacation.

"Here we are!" He smiled happily at his lover as he parked the car.

Before them was a little building that was covered in a thick blanket of snow. Lars looked over at Silvio and his smile faded. "What's wrong?" He asked as he saw the look on the darker man's face.

"Lars, I hate being cold. You know that." Silvio grumbled.

"Heh." Lars rubbed the back of his neck and shifted in his seat a little. "Well, we don't have to do anything outside. I guess." He really hadn't thought about Silvio not enjoying the spot and inwardly cursed himself.

"Ugh! Fine." Silvio replied.

They got out of the car and Lars grabbed their bags from the truck, still upset with himself for picking such a bad place for their weekend. He was carrying everything to the door when he felt something hit his back. He spun around to see an amused grin on his companion's face.

"Did you just throw a snowball at me?" The blonde asked, slightly amused.

"Sim. Because you're such an idiot for bringing me here."

Lars dropped everything instantly and grabbed a handful of snow, then quickly tossed it at Silvio. The snow flew everywhere since he hadn't taken the time to pack it properly, which caused an amused chuckle from the snow's intended target.

Silvio threw another ball quickly. It hit its target and Lars growled a little before packing a nice ball of snow and flinging it hard at the smaller man.

"Ow! Hey!" Silvio whined when he was hit. "That hurt Lars." He pouted cutely and moved closer to the big man.

Lars rolled his eyes and smiled. "Don't start what you can't finish."

"Sim. I know." Came the quiet reply before the Portuguese man shoved a handful of snow down Lars' shirt and ran away. "I always finish what I start." He laughed.

"Oh! God damn!" Lars swore as he felt the cold down his back. Silvio was going to pay for that, and the Dutchman ran after him. He tackled Silvio onto the snow and hovered over him with a grin.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" The Portuguese said; holding his hands up. "Please." He added with his puppy dog eyes.

Lars grinned. "Nope." He said and pushed a handful of snow down the front of Silvio's shirt.

Slivio yelled and pushed Lars off of him then quickly jumped on the man's back to put more snow down Lars's back.

The two men went back and forth in this manner before they found themselves too cold and exhausted to continue.

"Carry me inside Lars." Silvio whined.

"Why should I?"

"Because you love me?"

"I hate you."

"Do not. Pleeeeeaaaasssseee?"

"Fine." He gave in quickly and carried the smaller man inside the cabin, which was warm and cozy.

Lars had requested a fire be started before they arrived but it was dying down now. He dropped Silvio on the couch in front of the fire and moved to tend the fire. Once it was going again he turned back to his lover who had stripped off his wet clothes and was shivering under a blanket. He smiled and removed his wet clothing too. He soon joined Silvio under the blanket and nuzzled his cheek. Slivio wrapped himself around the blonde as soon as he joined him under the blanket.

"I'm sorry." The Dutchman said.

"You should be." He teased then kissed his nose.

"I know. I'm an idiot." Lars replied then placed a kiss on the man's cold lips.

"You are." He said before returning the kiss. "You can make it up to me, though."

"Oh? How?"

"You really are an idiot." Silvio laughed. "But you're my idiot. Warm me up and find out." He added.
