A/N: Sort of AU to Tommy's fear. His just kind of makes me laugh in Islands of Illusions. I find it stupid as well. I blame the writers for that one. I don't like Kim's either, but I couldn't think of anything else for her at the moment. Maybe later.

"Guys?" Tommy questioned just as his friends started disappearing around him. Replacing them were Rita's clay brains. "Putties!" He was fully morphed, ready to fight them.

"Tommy, are you alright?" Jason inquired, coming closer to his friend.

"Hi-ya!" He kicked one puttie in the stomach, sending it flying back.

"Jason, are you okay, bro?" Zack asked, helping the Red Ranger up.

"Yeah." Jason answered.

"C'mon, putties! Bring it on!" Tommy coaxed as the putties made there usual confused sounds.

"Tommy, it's us." Kimberly said. She knew to stay back from him. Actually, Trini and Billy were kind of keeping her back. "There are no putties around."

Tommy fought the putties as hard as he could. In the end, he felt like he just wasn't his usual warrior self. The Green Ranger felt weak and helpless, which he did not like. To add to his fears, the putties turned back into his friends. Tommy had hurt the Pink Ranger of the team badly.

"What have I done?" He asked himself, taking steps back from the group. "Kim, are you alright?"

"Tommy, I'm fine." Kimberly answered, raising her eyebrows.

Tommy kneeled down in defeat and started disappearing. In his mind, however, he was holding Kim in his arms.

"See what you've done! You're evil!" Imaginary Jason cried. "You hurt, Kimberly."

"No, I didn't mean to. I'm so sorry, Kimberly." He apologized looking at Kimberly.

"I'm right here!" Kimberly yelled, trying to reach out to him.

"Quagmire! Help! Tommy's in trouble!" Zack screamed.

The little man appeared on one of the tall trees. Tommy looked up at him, "Help me. I hurt Kim."

"Dude, look deep inside yourself. Giving up on yourself, you must not start. For deep inside you, lies one true heart. These feelings will put you in a whirl, so I will grant you the wish of seeing your one and only girl." Quagmire said.

Kimberly faded out of Tommy's arms and she was seen standing up. She had no wounds at all. "Tommy!"

"Kim, you're okay?" He queried, getting up. The Green Ranger was still fading, but not as quick as Rita would like.

"Tommy, what's wrong?" Kimberly questioned him.

"I'm evil." Tommy replied feebly.

"What? No, you're not. Tommy, listen to me. You are one of the sweetest guys I've ever known. You are far from evil." Kim started. "Don't let Rita get to you."

"How can you be so sure I'm good?" Tommy inquired looking down at the short gymnast. Quagmire knew that Tommy would only listen to Kimberly's words of wisdom. He had gotten that notion when he saw how Tommy saved her.

"Because I believe in you, Tommy. You trust me, don't you?" She asked.

"Yes." Tommy answered.

"Then trust what I'm saying now. We're friends and I'm not gonna let go." Kimberly had such sweetness in her voice. Tommy grinned and his body faded back, bringing the other rangers back. "Alright! You did it, Tommy! I knew you could!"

"Yeah, but not without you, Kim." Tommy gave her an appreciative wink and hugged her. "Thank you."

"Anytime." She replied.

The four other ranger exchanged knowing glances with one another. How obvious could those two be? Trini started chewing on her nails in fear. She looked at Billy nervously and then started walking off. The Blue Ranger simply followed after her.

"You okay now?" Kimberly asked.

"Yeah." Tommy said.

A/N: Okay, this one is a little corny now that I think about it. Oh, well. Be kind about the rhyming. I'm not the best at that.
