This is my first fanfiction (at least on this website), so...Hi guys? Oh, and English is not my mother language, AND it's not beta-ed, so there might be some grammar or spelling mistakes; but I did go through it several times! There ARE OCs, but they won't be in the pairing, and most of them would just be there to push the story further. I just wanted to write happy stories about FuriAka (haven't been seeing those for a while). So, uh...enjoy?
1. The Beginning
There were only two when life started and ended.
When Akashi gained consciousness, the first person he sees was an old man with a soft smile and a white beard, looking suspiciously like Santa Claus only without the red nose. The personality programs set beforehand started to run, and before doing anything, another program (that checks if there are any errors) is ran too.
His first words were "doctor", the status of that old man. His name, "Akashi Seijuurou", was set by The Doctor along with his personality program. The Doctor seemed to set his heart at rest, and replied with a smile:"Nice to meet you, Akashi-kun."
Even with a name and status of 'doctor', The Doctor was only a pursuer doing research on subjects unaccepted by most of the other people. The purpose of Akashi's 'birth' was to aid The Doctor in his work, but there seems to have something more about it.
Akashi didn't understand what else The Doctor would want him to do other than helping him to do his search even until The Doctor died. What he could do was to continue The Doctor's study, even if he couldn't understand the purpose of it.
Akashi thought his life would continue like this until the energy source in the laboratory was exhausted and the energy in his battery were used up. But it all changed when an intruder entered the lab.
His name was Furihata Kouki, a 'traveler' on a trip as he calls himself. He fell into the lab by stepping onto space and falling through the vent-pipes, injuring both the pipe and himself. While Furihata was traveling (falling and bumping, to be exact) through the vent-pipes, Akashi was having his battery recharged in a charger. When Furihata bumped over a shelf while searching for an exit and got the alarm going, Akashi disconnected himself from the device and chased Furihata for an hour.
Akashi, being the excellent robot (and The Doctor being a researcher with enough common sense to give him common sense) as he is, knew better ways to solve a problem like this instead of chasing the intruder. However, Furihata had the best horrified expression that he ever seen other than The Doctor. A foreign feeling of 'interest' emerged in Akashi's 'heart'. The result of following his 'heart's desire' was a Furihata chased to a corner of the laboratory. Furihata was having expressions that scream 'this is my death day' and 'goodbye, my short life' when Akashi asked him:"What is your business in this place, intruder?"
And that's how everything had begun.
