Title: Let It Snow
Author: CosmicalMadison
Rating: K+
Summary: It's snowing on Atlantis, but Elizabeth doesn't care as long as he is with her. Sparky fluff.
A/N: I just had to urge to do one last ficlet before National Novel Writing Month started, so here you go.

No one would have thought that it could ever snow on a tropical planet like this, but as they occasionally were, the expedition had been proven wrong. Elizabeth Weir stood at the window, arms crossed over her chest, watching the delicate flakes float gently to the ground. Some of the piers were already beginning to turn white.
It was nice to have this change and the beauty it brought, but the event wasn't without its downsides, the main one being the lack of heat. The scientists in the Atlantis expedition had as of yet been unable to determine if the city possessed a heating system and, if so, how to turn it on.
"Liz," a drowsy voice called from behind her, "come back to bed. You can enjoy the weather later."
She turned with a smile to see John still lying in bed. She must have woken him when she got up to come to the window.
Elizabeth took one last longing look outside and then turned back to the room and went to the bed. As she shrugged off her robe a chill came over her, but it was soon overcome as she slid underneath the blankets and John's warm skin contacted hers. With a gentle smile, his lips moved to cover hers and the warmth spread farther through her body.
She sighed in content. Who cared how could the weather around her was. The presence of her love would always warm her.

A/N: Yeah, short and pointless fluff, I know, but that's fun to do sometimes. I'm also working on a much longer Sparky epic, but I don't plan on posting it until it's finished, or close to it, which won't be for quite a while yet. Keep your eye out if you're interested, though.
Also, as a note to anyone who cares, I'm putting all of my current projects on hold and probably won't be posting anything new until December. I'm taking this month of from fanfiction to work on my novel. Good luck to anyone else who is participating!
