It came down hard and loud, the curve and rise of its surface reddening with each smash against the smooth, lacquered wood. Pulling his fist back once more, he knocked again, this time louder. Still there was no response. Having seen her vehicle in its regular spot he knew she was home. Cursing under his breathe he removed a small, bent pipe cleaner from his back pocket, unbending it as he began to kneel down. Leaving a slight hook on the end of the wire he slipped it delicately into the key hole of her door. Fiddling with it a moment he rested his right ear against the solid wood of her door, listening carefully with a sniper's ears. Hearing a sudden click he smiled triumphantly, calling through the door once more in warning.

"Bones, I'm coming in!" he yelled, standing completely and replacing the wire in his pocket.

"Ok, here I come." He said more to himself than to his to-be hostess. He wasn't quite sure about what he'd find.

Slowly opening the door he glanced inside, finding nothing but empty space.

"Bo-" he was abruptly interrupted by a faint voice singing in what sounded like Spanish. Closing the door lightly behind him he leaned on it slightly as the voice began to draw nearer from the hall leading to what he assumed was her bedroom.

"Y así pasan los días, Y yo, desesperando, Y tú, tú contestando, Quizás, quizás, quizás" the voice was smokey and he immediately recognized it to be Bones.

"Bones you should really learn to answer the door." Taking a step away from the door towards where she would appear he was taken back as she did just that. She wore a pair of tightly fitting jeans that slightly flared at the bottom with no shoes, socks or shirt.

"Estás perdiendo el tiempo, Pensando, pensando, Por lo que más tú quieras ¿Hasta cuándo¿Hasta cuándo?" her eyes were closed as she danced out of the hall singing, her hips swaying back and forth smoothly to the beat that slid through the thin white wires that floated from the small I-pod in her pocket to the circular speakers that rested in her ears.

His mouth stood agape, the need to say something flashing through his mind. However the sight stopped him. Her hair was wild and curly, its expanse reaching the middle of her shoulder blades. His lips slowly curled as he realized what he was observing.

"Siempre que te pregunto, Que, cuándo, cómo y dónde, Tú siempre me respondes, Quizás, quizás, quizás" she sang on, her eyes still closed.

Her back was toned but frail and feminine looking as she danced. Turning towards him he held his breath, his smile broadening. Her eyes remained closed as she sang. Staring at her he took her in as a whole. She wore a white bra, a delicate tracing of light pink, lace trim resting over her ribs for about half an inch. Following the curve of her side he spotted a small layer of the same trim just above her jeans. It was the most human, and undressed, he had ever seen her. It was odd in the way that she seemed more natural in this environment than she did stoically looking over a deteriorating skeleton; her self proclaimed natural environment. It was a side of Bones he had never seen.

Turning her back to him she proceeded to sing on, her hips still swaying slowly to the rhythm of the songs percussion, string and saxophone sections. Stepping from the door he took its handle into his palm once more, sneaking one last glance at his partner, he disappeared through the door.

Shutting it behind him he leaned against the hard, wooden door, a deep breath filling his lungs.

No one would have to know but him.

A/N: Hope it made you smile. The title comes from my brother's description of the song. I recommend finding the Spanish, Nat Kind Cole Version. It's an excellent song. Hope you enjoyed!
