Okay this story came while i was watching that so so sad scene where the doctor says goodbye to rose for what he thinks is the last time so this is my take on why i think his attractions were so strong towards her.
After his hologram faded out before he had chance to tell rose how he felt about her he sat on the floor of his tardis crying while thinking of all the memories that they had been through together and he vowed to himself that he would never forget her no matter what. While he was sitting there a certain memory kept creping into his mind and he couldnt think what that night with her had to do with rose.
After a long amount of thinking of that night he went and got the only pictures he ever got of his daughter wondering why he was thinking of her mum and that really wonderful last night that they spent together before he had to leave her before he got too attached beause he didnt want to live while she died.
But looking back at this memory the woman had very similar looks to Jackie. Suddenly the doctor got a pain in his head as all of his memories starting slotting together the pieces of the puzzle and now he realized why he loved rose so much. It wasnt because he was attracted to her it was because she was his daughter and as this dawned on him he collapsed to the floor in tears realising that he had just let his daughter go without putting up a better fight.
And he vowed from that day on that he would never forget Rose Tyler his daughter and would be queen of Gallifrey.
Ok probably reaaaaly rubbish but it just wouldnt leave my head until i posted it so let me know what you think.
