On The Lighter Side Of Things - Jiraiya & Shizune
[Today] -- Hokage's Office
"HEY! Shizune! I'm going to be out of town for the next couple of days. Some local village is having some problems with some type of flu. So I want you to stay here and take care of my paper work while I'm gone okay?" Godaime barked out, grabbed her coat, and exited the office.
Shizune replied, "Okay~! Be careful! Tsunade-sama!"
[Today] -- Ichiroku's Ramen Shop
"Hey Naruto. Don't you think that assistant of Tsunade's is pretty?" said the Perverted Senin.
Naruto lifted his face out of his bowl of ramen, and replied, "Eh? Wah are you tahking about?"
"That Shizune, she's real pretty huh?" He had this grin only Naruto could tell was his 'Grin Of Perverted Ideas'. "I heard today that Tsunade is going to be out of town for a while. He He He..."
"Hmm? stupid Ero-Senin..." Naruto just ignored him, and went back to eating his ramen.
[The Next Day]
That morning Shizune came to the office early and began working on the small paperwork, when suddenly the Office door opened. She looked up and was in a surprise.
"Tsunade-sama? Back already?" Shizune asked rapidly.
"Eh? Oh no I forgot my sake." Tsunade replied. "Before I leave again, there's something I've been meaning to ask you."
Shizune took a deep breath, looked up and replied, "NO~! I'm not lending you money this time! You've got to stop gambling! It's a bad habit!"
Tsunade had this look of disbelief, and was about to start laughing, but instead changed her expression to a more serious note. "Ohoho! No No. I wanted to ask you how you feel about Jiraiya."
Shizune cunfused at first, but just answered striaght out. "Well in your words, he's a Stupid Perverted Old Bastard!"
At that reaction Tsunade looked even more stressed, but quickly changed her reaction. "Really?"
"Well come on! All through your childhood, he always made fun of you. And he always was the loud and obnoxious one. And on TOP of that all he does is to peeping on girls to write those dirty novels of his." Shizune replied with a stern tone.
By now, Tsunade looks as if she were hit by a brick wall.
Shizune continued, "But... He is a good person deep down. Why do you asked this all of a sudden? It's not like you."
"Huh? Oh well, I was just curious. Okay! I'll see you in a week or so! Later!" And with that Tsunade left the office again.
Shizune still had this look of "What just happened..." but threw the notion off and continued with her work.
[2 Days later...]
Shizune arrived at the office early and began her work again, when suddenly the office door opened again.
"I'm back! Shizune did anything happened while I was gone?" Tsunade-sama said, as she put her coat on the hook.
"Welcome back Godaime. No nothing happened."
So after a few hours, of getting back to normal life, Shizune asked out of curiousity, "Tsunade-sama, how do you feel about Jiraiya?"
"Huh? He's a Stupid Perverted Old Bastard. Why? And WHERE'S MY SAKE!?" Tsunade started to look everywhere for her drink.
Shizune just stood there, with a look of MAJOR disbelief. Then the two women looked at each other and made a fist, shaking it furiously.
"JIIIIRRRRAAAAIIIIIYYYYYAAAA!!!!!"
Meanwhile at Ichiroku's Ramen...
"Okay, so maybe she's not my type. But that Tsunade sure packs the best Sake in all of Konoha! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!" Jiraiya spoke loudly, and laughed hartly.
At those words Naruto looked up again from his bowl of ramen, looked at him and said to himself, "Stupid Ero-Senin..." and when back to eating his ramen.
