The Diary of Sophie Lupin-Black.

August, 31st 2011 - Wednesday.

I finally get to go to Hogwarts this year. All my friends that live in our area are going as well. We live in a Wizarding area in Cardiff, Wales. I used to go to Muggle primary school with my friends Melissa, William, Lauren, Jazzmin, Chloe, Erin, Connor, Hayden, Samuel and Matthew. Erin's identical twin, Iona also went to school with us. It is quite amazing that we will all be starting Hogwarts tomorrow, how lucky am I that all my closest friends are also Wizards and Witches?!

I went shopping to Diagon Alley a couple of days ago and I met Harry Potter. Tad talks about his parents all the time because he went to school with them. When I got home I told Tad about this and he asked me what he looks like. Harry looks like James except he has Uncle Sev's hair colour and the same colour eyes as Uncle Sev's Mam. I only know this from the photos I have seen.

Not many people know this but Harry Potter is the son of James Potter and Severus Snape. They began dating when they were in their 6th Year but had to break up because of Voldemort. If James was still alive they would be together but unfortunately he isn't.

We get on the train to go to Hogwarts tomorrow and I can't wait. Tad said that I can have some money for the food trolley and I am going to get a chocolate frog because I collect the cards inside. Most people think this is a bit strange but I have a mild allergy to Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans but then again my dad is a Werewolf so unusual allergies run in the family.

I hope I am sorted into Gryffindor, all my close family are in Gryffindor. That means my dad's. Brave people go to Gryffindor so I should go there but I am also a genius, no lie because Tad had me tested and I was diagnosed as a child genius. I would do well as a Ravenclaw but red is so my colour (I'm also kind of over-confident.) I wouldn't want to be a Hufflepuff because people always doubt them for the fact that their house doesn't have any specific traits but Tad was friends with some when he was at school and he called them Loyal and Hard Working. I definitely wouldn't want to be a Slytherin because they have a tendency to become dark Wizards. All of Dad's family members were in Slytherin and I think the vast majority of them became Death Eaters.

Sorry for rambling but I'm excited!
