Princess and the Beast

There once was a village.

In the village was a beautiful and kind princess.

In the forest near the village was a dark and depressing castle.

In the castle was a beast.

He appeared human by day but turned into his true form by night; this was his curse.

One day the princess went out to fetch some wood.

She found the castle and went inside.

She was greeted by a handsome young man,

The prince.

They spent the entire day together, laughing and having a jolly time.

The sun was setting.

The prince didn't notice.

The princess continued to laugh and talk with the prince.

They took a midnight stroll.

They had dinner.

They danced.

They lived happily ever after.

She broke his spell.

He was a beast with a kind and caring heart, but no one to be kind to or to care for.

Until she arrived.

She had a beautiful and thoughtful heart, but no one to give it too, until she met the prince.

They said their vows and lived in that castle,

Which is now a white marble castle.

They were no longer alone.

Their spells broken.

This is the story of true love between an unlikely pair:

A beautiful princess and a horrible beast.

The Lost Princess

"Help!"

She cried out into the twilight, but no answer.

"Help!"

She screamed louder, causing her entire body to throb.

Her dress torn.

Her body fragile and broken.

Her pale skin was now red with her blood and bruised purple.

Her once vibrant jade eyes were piercing with fear for her life.

She had no one and no place to go.

She was lost.

She tried to get up, but her legs wouldn't hear of it.

Her torso was the worst, exposed and bleeding profusely.

No one found her.

She died all alone.

No one cried for her,

Not one soul.

But there was a boy.

A farmer boy.

He loved her with all his heart and soul.

He buried her in the forest, near a meadow full of wildflowers.

He cleaned her grave everyday, always taking fresh flowers with him.

Everyday he confessed his love to her as he should have that day she disappeared.

He should have gone with her into the forest.

He should have told her not to go.

He should have taken her into his arms.

He should have embraced her.

He should have kissed her.

He should have saved her when he heard her cries.

But he was afraid.

He knew his parents wouldn't approve.

He knew her parents wouldn't either.

He let them rule over him.

One day a mysterious woman came into the small village.

She said she could make anyone's wish come true, for a price.

He went to her, begging for the life of his beloved.

She asked what he was willing to give.

He said his heart and soul.

She smiled a devilish smile,

The agreement was made.

They shook hands.

She devoured his heart and set his soul free to find his lost love.

He floated in a large meadow of souls.

He heard a cry.

He found the lost princess.

He confessed his love.

He held her.

He embraced her tightly.

He kissed her.

She kissed him back.

She held him.

She embraced him.

They ascended together to heaven.

They were never separated again.

This is the story of the lost princess who finally found her prince.
