Prologue
"Good work today, bugaboo!" Chat Noir exclaimed, giving his pawtner a fist bump. Her blue eyes sparkled. "Likewise, kittycat! Bug out!" she said as she yo-yo'd away. Chat Noir watched as his crush swung away, then proceeded to blow a kiss in her direction. I love whoever that girl is under that mask. If only she would share her identity with me. No, don't be stupid Adrien. I trust her. It doesn't matter who she really is. I'll be here for her no matter what. He grinned, then leapt away to get camembert for his greedy kwami.
Hawkmoth growled. "Stupid Ladybug! One day soon, I will have your Miraculous!" He thought for a moment. "Darkwings, fall!" Nooroo appeared. "What is it, Master?" the tiny lavender kwami inquired. "Nooroo, how is it that Ladybug always wins and my akumas always fail?" Gabriel asked angrily. "I… don't know Master. The ladybug and black cat miraculous have been defeated before. These kids seem to be smarter than all of your akumas."
"So what you're saying is that I need to akumatize someone more intelligent than my previous akumas. What about that gamer kid? He was smart."
"But, Master, if you don't mind me saying, was that he didn't know Ladybug and Cat Noir as well as…I-I mean... um..." Nooroo trailed off.
"As what? Who, Nooroo?" Nooroo winced. Master Fu would be upset if... No. Gabriel wouldn't. Would he?
"Tell me now! Remember, I am your master. You will do as I say." Gabriel told the little purple butterfly. Finally, he might be able to defeat the heroes once and for all, and get his precious Emilie back!
"Well… I know of a world called Terra. It is almost exactly like ours, except without the Miraculous. However, people there are extremely intelligent, and know practically everything about our world- including everything about Ladybug and Chat Noir. They have analyzed them to no extent. The only problem, Master, is that it is hard to contact Terrans. They can see us at any moment, from the comfort of their own home but unless they come to our world, as far as we know, they do not exist."
"Can an akuma travel to this… Terra place?" Gabriel asked, excitement evident in his ice blue eyes. "If I can find someone who is angry enough to be akumatized, and bring them to our world, the miraculous are as good as mine!" And I can finally be reunited with my beloved!
"Yes Master. Though I must warn you, inviting a Terran here comes at a cost. They-"
"Nooroo, you should know by now that I am willing to do anything to get the miraculous, and to get my wife back. No matter the cost."
"Yes Master."
"How do I send an akuma to Terra?"
"Just say 'Papillon Portal'. It will open a rift to Terra. Until the Terran is akumatized, you will have no contact with the akuma."
"Papillon Portal" Hawkmoth sent an akuma through the rift. Bye this time tomorrow, I will have my wife back and my family will be complete. Hawkmoth grinned. Today was going to be a good day.
