Hey there. My name's Moomoogirl1. Anyway it's been a while since I put up an Inuyasha one shot. I hope you do like it. I haven't really been into Inuyasha lately but I decided to make this one shot anyway because Koga really needs to give up.

Let's move on shall we?

No I do not own Inuyasha. I wouldn't be on fanfiction if I did wouldn't I? Dumb disclaimers…

"Come on Kagome leave that puppy."

"No."

"But Kagome it's all over. There's no danger of Naraku or his spawns. Now's the perfect time to…"

"Koga I already said…"

"Come on Ka…"

"I'm already Inuyasha's!"

There was an odd pause before Koga slowly processed the statement in his head.

"You what!" he yelled. Kagome cringed. She should have seen this coming.

"I'm sorry Koga but…I never said I would be your mate. You never asked my opinion."

Koga looked at Kagome in disbelief. So all this time this was the way she felt? Why didn't she say so before? Why now? Was this was how it was…?

"I love Inuyasha." Kagome continued trying to remain calm. "I don't love you. I'm sorry…"

There was a moment of silence. Kagome felt tense and not relaxed at all. She didn't like this. She tried to see the expression on Koga's face but it was un-readable. Koga lowered his head as the bangs covered his eyes.

"Do…you know what wolf demons do in a situation like this?"

Kagome got even more tensed up. She didn't like tone in Koga's voice.

"No." she answered. "Why don't you tell me?" Koga looked up, his face stern.

"He would teach her a lesson. "He might…even kill her."

Kagome gulped and took a step back. She had not been expecting this from Koga. Maybe it hadn't been a great idea confronting him all by herself. Why didn't she take Inuyasha along with her?

Kagome kept backing away as Koga kept stepping forward.

"You aren't going to kill me…are you?" she asked getting more scared by the minute. Maybe she should just run for it.

However, Koga quickly grabbed her arm. Kagome let out a yelp and closed her eyes.

"No."

Kagome opened her eyes to see Koga's now thoughtful face. "I could never kill you Kagome." He said. "I can't because…I like you too much." He let go of her arm as he turned around.

"Well I better get going now. I'm sure Inuyasha's worried about you. You should return to him."

With that Koga began to walk away until he heard Kagome call his name.

He turned around to see Kagome with watery eyes. Maybe they were tears of sadness or relief. Maybe both. He didn't know.

"Will we meet again?" she asked. Koga, surprised by this action, laughed.

"Of course! Someone's gotta to check if that mutts really taking care of you!"

Kagome smiled. "Thanks for everything Koga." Koga smiled back, nodded, and walked away into the forest leaving his loved one.

There were no need for good-byes. They would surely meet again.
