Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter. If I did Harry and Ginny, as well as Ron and Hermione would have gotten together a long time ago.

please R&R!

Harry pushed his way through the crowd on platform 9 3/4. After this past school years events all he wanted to do was go back to Privet Drive. Before his uncle could even say anything, Harry was already at the car with his things.

Making my way downtown
Walking fast
Faces pass
And I'm home bound

Staring blankly ahead
Just making my way
Making a way
Through the crowd

One of the first things Harry found while he was unpacking was a photo Colin Creevy had taken during a hogsmeade trip this past year. It was of Ginny and him on their first date. Harry felt a pang in his heart. He missed her so much, but this was what he had to do. So many people had already gotten hurt. First his parents, then Sirius, and now Dumbledore. He couldn't live knowing that he had put her in danger, but he wanted so badly just to see her again.

And I need you
and I miss you
and now I wonder...

If I could fall
Into the sky
Do you think time
Would pass me by
'Cause you know I'd walk
A thousand miles
If I could
Just see you
Tonight

Harry put the picture in his wallet and sat on his bed thinking about her. How her hair always smelt good or how she bit her lip when she was concentrating, it was the little things that she did that drove Harry crazy about her.

It's always times like these
When I think of you
And I wonder
If you ever
Think of me

'Cause everything's so wrong
And I don't belong

Living in your
Precious memories

He realized now what he had to do. He realized that Ginny would be in danger with or without him. He needed her. Harry picked up his cloak and broom and out the window he went.

'Cause I need you
And I miss you
and now I wonder...

If I could fall
Into the sky
Do you think time
Would pass me by
'Cause you know I'd walk
A thousand miles
If I could
Just see you
Tonight

And I, I
Don't want to let you know
I, I
Drown in your memory
I, I
Don't want to let this go
I, I
Don't...

"Ron!" Harry called from Ron's window. "Harry?" Ron asked, "What are you doing here?" Harry shook his head. "That's not important. I need to talk to Ginny." Ron looked at him confused. "What, why?" "Ron! Where is Ginny?" Harry asked losing his tempore.

"She's shopping in the market about a mile down the road."

Harry pushed his way toward the beautiful red head who had her back turned to him. To Harry she was the only one who mattered and the rest of the faces became a blur.

Harry reached out and tapped her on the shoulder. He felt the hair on her neck raise. "I'm sorry." He whispered in her ear. "Harry?" she asked turning around to face him. When she saw him her face broke out in a grin and she threw her arms around his neck, hugging him tightly. "I was so wrong Ginny. You were right. I don't have to do this alone, I can't do this alone. Will you have me back?" he asked resting his forehead against hers, their mouths only a few inches apart. "Yes you great prat!" she said joyfully. Harry smiled and slowly closed the small gap between them with a loving, well needed kiss.

And I still need you
and I still miss you
and now I wonder...

If I could fall

Do you think time
Would pass us by
'Cause you know I'd walk

If I could
Just see you...

'Cause you know I'd walk
A thousand miles
If I could
Just see you
If I could
Just hold you
Tonight
