The sky was black and churning.
A tornado for sure, Vela Yun was thinking. She looked up at the sky and saw what looked like the formations of a funnel cloud. Oh, great. She ran as fast as she could to the nearest shelter.
Lord, please protect me. I hate storms, she prayed, her knees shaking from fear. The howling winds picked up and the towering vertical monstrosity swirled down onto the verdant earth, ripping up roots, grass, trees, animals, buildings, and just about anything else in its path. Except Vel Yun. When it reached her, it disappeared and reappeared—three kilometers away from her. She sighed in relief.

Thank You, Jesus, for rescuing me
. She knew that from now on, she would always trust in the Lord. No matter what circumstances.

A/N: So, how did you like it? Btw, I'm also afraid of storms and tornadoes. Especially tornadoes. I had one form in my backyard just this March. It was scary. Thankfully, it was only an F1 (little tornado). God protected me and my family (although, not in such a miraculous way). I'm still hoping to someday trust in Him that whenever a bad storm, whether outside or inside, comes up, He would take care of me.
