"My precious. . ." Franklin said soothingly as he stroke the card gently in his hand. It was a very precious card to him. It meant the world to him. As he continued to stroke his beloved card, he could feel its smooth surface and its thin curve edges. He could smell the odour of fresh carbon and the inside of his sweaty backpack in there, and even nearly taste it.
"You're the only one. . ." He said in a low quiet whisper as he carefully set the card face-down on his wooden desk next to his large bed. He then proceeded to lay down on his bed, sighing softly as he began to stare up at the ceiling thoughtfully. Suddenly his card began to glow a mysterious bright blue color, blinding him temporarily as he covered his eyes from the unbearable burning light. However, the card started to move on its own as it flipped itself face-up. It was coming to life! Just then, a tall and muscular handsome male cladded in a suit of heavy blue armor appeared in front of Franklin.
"You've summoned me, Master." He said in a deep manly voice, which made Franklin flinch for a moment.
Critias calmly approached Franklin as he leaned in and reached his thumbs on his small shut eyelids, tenderly rubbing them for him before he could flutter his long black lashes, blinking a few times, yet his vision was slightly blurry. In spite of this, he was able to make out the figure sitting by him.
"Critias!" Franklin cried with the greatest glee as he immediately sat up on his bed. His dark brown eyes sparkled and shimmered beautifully from the moonlight reflecting on his irises and that also illuminated the dark room they were in. "You've come. . ."
"Yes, I have." He responded with a tiny smile.
Critias slowly picked up Franklin from his bed and into his wide arms. He held him closely and tightly against his big flat tough chest as he placed his massive hand on his head. It felt strong and rough, but to Franklin it felt nice and warm. Critias ruffled and played with Franklin's short black puffy hair, he then went on to repeat and whisper the same words Franklin had told him earlier in his ear: "My precious. . ."
The End
