She was certain she had never done anything to deserve this. "THIS" being a sleeping Shikamaru, drunken Lee, and "Now-With-100-More-Sticks-Up-His-Axx" Neji, one can understand Tenten's dilemma. The mission being technically over, Neji refused to help her. She didn't have Ino's skill at waking Shikamaru up, and if she had, the lazy bum wouldn't have helped her anyhow. And Lee was now completely and totally wasting the bar.
Tenten is rather good at analyzing. Not exactly on par with Shikamaru or Sakura, but good. Certainly as good as Neji. Perhaps better. So she reasoned that what she preceded to do was a perfectly logical solution to the problem, and not simply because she was irritated and sadistic.
Smirking, and using impeccable timing and aim, she pinned Lee to the (remaining) wall with several dozen well placed, meticulously forged and sharpened senbon. She then chucked a tranquilizer dart into an artery on this leg. 'That takes care of one problem... Now for the others."
She smirked again, and pinned an off-guard and unsuspecting Neji to the same wall. He glared at her.
"Tenten, this is unnecessary."
"Not true, Neji. This is entirely necessary." She now continued by waking Shikamaru in a... creative way. She threw a shuriken at him. Shikamaru, using his ninja skills, woke and caught it in time to stop it from killing him. He glared at Neji, Lee, Tenten, and the incredible damage surrounding them.
"Troublesome. Now you're going to lecture us."
"Brilliant deduction, but no, Shikamaru. That would be a waste of breath. Instead, you, Shikamaru, are in charge of cleaning this up, and settling this all with the manager." She pivoted. "You, Neji, are in charge of Lee for the rest of the trip. And trust me, he won't wake up until we reach Konoha."
"What makes you think I'll do this?" Neji glared again, then stopped. He had forgotten- Tenten's immune. She smirked again, and he was mildly worried. He had started to notice a trend.
"Because if you don't, I'm afraid I'll have to continue on to Konoha without you. There's no getting out unless I remove you- the byakugan won't help you here."
So in the end, a vexing mission ended well- for Tenten. Shikamaru dealt with Ground Zero, Neji dealt with Lee, Lee dealt with a bad hangover, and Tenten dealt with a rather nice trip to a nearby onsen. Victory is sweet. Revenge is sweeter.
